Who I Am
My name is Matthew Barnes and I am an evangelist working with the Church of Christ in Grapevine Texas. I manage and update this site on my own when I have the time. The primary goal of this site is to provide a thorough archive of study materials as well as directories of excellent resources made available by other brethren and congregations of the Lord's Church. I currently have a large number of resources which I am working to make available in digital format(s). I will gladly accept and consider any additional resources or recommendations to include on the site. If you have cassette recordings, CDs, tracts, other any materials which you are interested in preserving by converting to a difital format, please contact me and I will either process them for you or help you work on this yourself. I am always interested in new features and resources for the site. Many members of the Church have suggested ideas or resources over the years, for which I am very thankful. I hope that you find these things useful in your study and growth as a Christian. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Projects - Current/Ongoing
Brotherhood Resource, Congregational Website, and Other Directories
I aim to maintain updated directories to all websites and other online platforms created for local congregations or by individual Christians. Additionally, I am working on directories of other resources (non-Church of Christ) that contain excellent materials for spiritual growth (as always, discernment is encouraged).
Digitization of individual and congregation recording libraries
I have consistently been digitizing physical media (CDs and Cassettes) for several years. I will happily assist any local congregation in digitizing their recording libraries or in teaching them how to process them. I would like to accumulate all possible recordings of Evangelists and Preacher Studies throughout the years to make available here on the site. I am also happy to take recommendations of any excellent sermon series, studies, or other materials by faithful and capable teachers.
Expansion of the site
There are several features planned for addition to the site. I also gladly accept your ideas and feedback for consideration. Below I will list some of the planned features as well as some ideas.
Planned: A page dedicated to Evangelistic plans/methods including materials and media for free use by local congregations.
Idea: A page for Evangelist to share their “resumes” and for local congregations to post job openings/seeking an Evangelist.
Digitally Remastered Archive of the Old Paths Advocate
I would like to have the full run of the Old Paths Advocate scans professionally digitized and restored. Additionally, I want to have them fully indexed for full searcahability and implement a navigation system for ease of use.
Digital Library of Free Books and Resources (Public Domain, Authorized, Free Use)
I currently have a PDF collection of over 500 religious books and resources (Commentaries, Debates, and Topical Books). I would like to have them professionally restored for the same benefits and features as the OPA.
Digital Tract Library
I have a large collection of physical and digital tracts to have professionally treated for the same benefits and features as the OPA and Digital Library.
