Quit Lying about Faith - and Evolution!

by Sharon Wyper

I am pretty tired of all the ignorant remarks about “faith” that I read in various blogs, articles, and letters to editors.  I am interested in politics and pop science articles and especially try to follow the public debates on evolutionism, creationism, and intelligent design, so I see a lot of totally clueless definitions of faith.

People who are utterly atheist and materialist in their devotion to “science” like to reinforce each other’s assumption that “faith” is essentially the same as “stupidity”.  Faith, to this group, is irrational and thus contemptible - because to them, faith is “belief that is contradicted by experience, observation, reason, logic, natural law, and all the evidence”.  Faith is the opposite of all that is good and holy to scientists, because scientists are taught to worship the human intellect and human powers of imagination.  What a joke.  Perversity of speech, hypocrisy, and prejudice against Christians seem to be hallmarks of the self-styled “intellectuals”.

As an aside, I would also mention that people who consider themselves “Christian” and who belong to respectable churches, and who yet agree with the atheist’s definition of faith, if not their assessment of faith’s worth - please read on.  It is to you my dear ones, that I am primarily hoping to make my point.

Faith is not belief against the evidence.  Faith IS the evidence.

Faith is not unsubstantiated belief.  Faith IS the substance.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I have some personal experience with faith, and I will describe that, not because my testimony is “scientific proof” of anything, but simply because you may not have read such a description of faith.

Faith is such a clear and positive way of knowing something, that no amount of evidence to the contrary is persuasive.  What if I go the door and look out and see the mail truck coming down the street toward our house, and I say to someone, “The mail truck is coming” and he or she says, “Today is Sunday and the mail never comes on Sunday.”  Will that statement, which is true enough, change my experience of having seen the truck?  Yes, in fact I may be persuaded that I was mistaken, dreaming, or delusional, if put under enough pressure to deny having seen the truck.  But I did see it, and it was a real experience.  You may say, well it was real to YOU, but no one else shared that experience, so it was not real.

It’s totally irrelevant whether the event was shared by others, is reproducible by under controlled circumstances, is mathematically probable, or is ever repeated in anyone’s experience.  There was a real mail truck on a real street observed by a real person on a specific day, etc.  Possibly no mail was found in any mail box along the street - who cares?  It still happened.  I can’t prove it to anyone, but I KNOW it.  Faith refers to reality, although whatever allows us to perceive such reality is mysterious, compared to seeing and hearing a mail truck.

Faith is not a belief system that someone persuades you to act upon as if it were true despite the evidence.  That would be brainwashing.  Faith is knowing and understanding despite persuasions that can be very compelling but are still false insofar as they contradict what faith reveals.  Faith is like the clarity of the little child declaring “The Emperor has no clothes!”  And faith is the clarity of the leper declaring “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean!”

Peter walked on water by faith.  He had the revelation of this ability, just briefly, before his rational mind over-ruled his faith and God-in-Christ had to rescue him.  Have I ever walked on water?  No.  Is that relevant to Peter’s experience, as far as its reality? No.  In my life, as in every Christian’s life, are ‘many infallible proofs’ of the reality of Jesus Christ, some shared with or observed by others, many not.  Faith allows the greater truth to be known, it does not deny material reality but also is not fooled by it.

Faith is a gift from God, and there is no way to obtain faith from any other source.  It is often said that ‘unbelievers have faith’ in things - faith in the law, or faith in science, or faith in human nature, and so on.  While those who do not know Christ as Lord and Savior may indeed have deep feelings or firm convictions regarding various things, such is not truly faith.  Faith is a gift from God and the very first iota of faith that one receives is the ability to know the truth of Jesus Christ.  If you do not know Christ, you do not have faith.  There is no belief of any other type that constitutes Faith.

At a time, a witness for Christ was explaining to me the plan of salvation and inviting me to meet Christ.  “Will you accept the Holy Spirit?” he said.  At once, I was astonished at the self-evident, perfectly obvious TRUTH of what he was telling me!  “That’s it?” I said, “it’s that?”  God gave me instantly the faith to be saved, and I simply could not express my amazement that I had never understood the truth before, it was so dazzlingly clear to me at that point.  The Devil was by my side as usual, though, and quickly spoke up to say, “O, but what about evolution?  Are you going to have to believe that Creation story?”  I heard this question distinctly from just over my left shoulder, so I said aloud, “O, but what about evolution?  Am I going to have to believe that Creation story?”  To which the one witnessing to me said, “You are willing to trust your eternal soul to Jesus, trust Him with that too - don’t make it the issue now, but let’s talk about it again in two weeks.”  This seemed reasonable, so I said “Yes, I want to receive the Holy Spirit.”  I was thrilled to know that I was giving my life and all my affairs into the hands of a trustworthy, competent manager, and did not have to struggle with it all alone anymore.

Having received the measure of faith sufficient to be saved, I shed veil after veil of sadness and superstition.  Faith grew and joy bubbled up, so that I understood the term ’springs of living water’.  Long before the two weeks were over, with no further discussion, I was laughing at the very idea of evolution, and at myself for ever having taken it seriously - what a preposterous, implausible scenario is evolution!  And yet, I had believed evolutionism and all its implications and despised those who did not, so lost was I apart from Christ.

Faith is the victory.

1 John 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Water into Wine

by David Wyper

Almost all Christians know the story of Jesus turning water into wine, but very few really understand what was the real miracle at the wedding feast in Cana.  Today we have magicians and illusionists who do incredible tricks. Turning water into wine, by comparison, isn’t all that amazing to some. But that wasn’t the miracle.

When Jesus turned water into wine, he didn’t just provide “a” wine.  He provided the best wine anybody had ever tasted, from grapes unknown to wine makers of the day.  To make the very finest of wines today takes a very, very long time. There’s planting and growing, harvesting, de-stemming and crushing, fermentation, aging, and as we would say today, bottling.  Jesus did this in an instant. He was - and is - God!  He is The One who holds time in His very hands, who can stop it or speed it up. Only God could put years into an instant.

Jesus revealed Himself as the very Lord of Glory in that moment. He also showed us His nature as God-man, to provide what was needed for a great celebration.

Abide in the doctrine of Christ. When you do, you have both the Father and the Son. You have GOD!

Aliens on Earth - Disclosure Near

 by Sharon Wyper

The editor forwarded a  press release to me for comment here, pertaining to the rumors of imminent disclosures to be made of a long-standing cover-up by the USA and other governments who have recovered bodies and craft from space aliens, and even made contact with them.

The July 28 press release, from christiannewswire.com, is titled “Could Aliens Become Spiritual Mentors?” and breathlessly asked the question “Is our society about to acknowledge the existence of aliens?”  This is brought on because “Just last week former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell, speaking on BBC Radio, said aliens exist and have been observing earth for “quite some time.”"

In fact, if one follows such things, many credible witnesses have attested to the reality of UFOs and visitors who are “not of this world” - usually to the jeers and scoffing of nearly everyone everywhere.   What does seem to have changed is the attitude of the media toward the subject, if only by a little, given the stature of the speaker.

This is a fascinating and scary press release on the “aliens from space’ topic from Christian News Wire, in that it is trying to make the case that an alien invasion might inspire us earthlings to be more spiritually aware, bringing wisdom and higher planes of existence to us  - who are less evolved!  Since I have long ago given up Science Fiction as a hobby, I was unaware of the movies cited, but the trend as described is clearly toward mind-controlled Hollywood propaganda prepping us to accept aliens (spirits not of God) as religious gurus - if not as demi-gods.  That is so scary.

This press release says, “We can always choose to embrace the unknown–the alien–instead of fearing it.”

Well, doh! - maybe we could get back to the Bible!  What about we just return to God our Creator, the Lord, God, and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved.  We could be protected from these devious unclean alien intruders by God Almighty, instead of welcoming them into our bosom.

Non-human intelligent beings are very much evident in the Bible, and are of two sorts, the Servants of God, ministering spirits who have gone forth on the earth, who always point men to Jesus Christ, and the Devil, whose servants are evil, adversaries of God, thieves, who come only to kill, steal, and destroy.  What is so hard to understand about that!?  Yes, they are here and have always been here.  It’s all in the Bible.  Also in the Bible are the complete instructions for dealing with them.

Also, by extension, Christian Newswire  now seems sort of scary - why would any “Christian” source offer a story like this?  You can read the whole thing here.  What do you think of this press release?

Cache Connections has Plenty of Cache for Christian Singles

by Linda Emmons

Since our society has long abandoned formal, “proper” introductions of unmarried people to one another, and most frown on arranged marriages, what is a Christian single person to do? Being a Christian single has it’s benefits, and some people are called to that lifestyle. But if you or someone you know is part of the majority of Believers, those who know God has a soul-mate “out there” for them somewhere, and hate the sterile, ineffective approaches of typical dating services, Cache Connections may be for you.

Cache Connections is the outgrowth of the matchmaking abilities of friends and business partners Kim Whitaker and Linda Martin. Believing that a faith-based, personal approach to finding a mate was lacking, the two women started a matchmaking service. Soon it became apparent that they needed a larger pool of singles and decided to take Cache Connections online in February, 2007.

Kim and Linda said “We built the service exclusively for Christians…It has always been crucial that we are lifting up in prayer our clients and all areas of the business and committing every aspect to be done in a God-pleasing manner. We believe God hard-wires in everyone a destiny to be completed here on earth, so we take this role very seriously.”

A cache is a hidden treasure, and some of the unique characteristics of Cache Connections are the personalized, interactive services intended to bring out the treasure in the people they serve.  Cache tries to help members understand themselves and develop healthy relationships. Kim and Linda  host online chats to stay in touch with members and provide support from Dr.s Tom and Beverly Rodgers, relationship therapists, international speakers and authors of multiple books on Christian relationships.

Cache adds interest by hosting live chats and a “dating game” segment where a single is spotlighted and they narrow choices down to finalists.

To get started, prospective members must agree to a statement of faith, provide a credit card, and answer a questionnaire.  The members are given a series of choices to describe their  faith and how it plays out in their daily lives. The questions are designed to be a teaching tool, guiding members to think about who they are and what they are looking for in a mate.  The next task to register is photo submission. Since other sites tempt members to use outdated photos, Cache members are required to submit photos reflecting a more present reality.

Cache Connections is unabashedly Christian, and scriptural context is provided on their site for all the activities. Check them out further at http://www.cacheconnections.com/

Quick Facts:
Founders: Kim Whitaker and Linda Martin
Current members are from 20-80 years old; Average member age range is 35-48 years old
Geographical area covered is worldwide, although being a new service, many are clustered in Cache’s home base of Illinois.

Angels - what do you believe?

by Linda Emmons

We don’t post all of the stories on TCC that generate interest in our little shop. One such story, from The Telegraph, a U.K. non-Christian publication, ignited some conversations within our staff and we wondered what our readers think.

Click here to see the original story, about a woman, Lorna Byrne, who sees angels on a regular basis.

The first question that came to my mind, is this for real? The unspecified author is clearly not a Christian, since he or she thinks it odd that someone could talk to G-d directly. Any Christian would understand that of course we can talk directly with G-d; we need no mediator since Jesus/Yeshua is our high priest and He leads the way for us into The Throne Room.

Anyone even casually familiar with The Holy Bible knows that humans have seen and interacted with angels since the beginning of history. The Telegraph reporter didn’t appear to  know that, either. We would have better clues as to the validity of this woman’s visions if this article had been presented from a less secular viewpoint. So the second question, is it possible to trust media bias when they attempt to write about things in which they have no subject matter knowledge?

Sharon, TCC’s talented webmaster, wondered if Byrne’s visions weren’t “…a gift of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Bible as ‘discerning of spirits?’ ” What do you think, based on what we know from this article and Holy Scriptures, and perhaps personal experience?

This conversation lead to an examination of Genesis 1, wondering if we could tell when angels were actually created. Some seem to think the angels (and Satan) were created before the “six days” of creation.

Sharon thinks, “that if so, this would indicate that Genesis 1 refers ONLY to the creation of the earth and local-to-earth phenomena.  The whole rest of the universe must have come prior to Genesis 1:1. However, that does not “feel” right.  Then, the clear reading of the text is that the Earth is the centerpiece and the rest of the Universe is just an accessory to it.  The angels do not precede the creation of the Earth as described in Genesis; although they are not mentioned specifically, they must be in the sequence somewhere — or are they completely outside of Creation as described in Genesis?  They would have to be if they predate the Earth.”

Had we been blogging this, my next entry would have been something like “I think the angels predate the earth. they aren’t mentioned at all in the first chapter of Genesis, so why couldn’t they have had prior existence? Especially since I don’t think there are verses elsewhere that say when they were created…and that the universe as we perceive it was created then doesn’t mean there wasn’t another dimension of existence that Heaven occupies before all of that. Everything i have read in science indicates a big big bang–and that although they don’t know where a center would be, that the universe continues to grow and expand. And yes, I think all that is for our benefit.”

Then we discussed whether there was a prequel to Genesis. What about it, what do your studies indicate?

My thought is yeah, why not? Scientists say that at the moment of creation there were 10-12 dimensions…clearly a lot more is going on than we can see right now, and since G-d is eternal, HE didn’t come into existence with our universe. His nature is to create–why not assume He created something before our universe? I think “the beginning” refers to us and what we can know about, not everything G-d knows about.

Dear Readers, this is your chance to dazzle and inform! I went waaaaaay out on a limb, stating what I think. I am not a theologian or scientist, but I do like to contemplate the nature of G-d and His creation. What can you share with us to correct or otherwise add to the conversation?

The Imagination of Man

by David Wyper

What does God have to say about our imagination?

Through Moses, God said of mankind that “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” After hearing the words of a curse, man then blesses “himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst.” God says our imagination will testify against us and evils and troubles will befall us.

God has Solomon call our imagination “wicked,” and Jeremiah calls us deceived when we think our imagination can bring peace and that “no evil shall come upon you.” Jeremiah also compares our imagination to rebellion against God.

Jesus said the the proud are scattered “in the imagination of their hearts.”

Also, Paul refers to our imagination as vain and something to be cast down as it is a “high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.”

Yet, in the last decade or so,  the church has lifted up a song glorifying the imagination to be one of the most successful songs in Christian music, and God’s people have followed after like lemmings, singing, “I Can Only Imagine.”

Go figure.

We need to always fix our faith and trust in the absolutely finished work of Christ on the Cross; and (as Paul teaches) to not go beyond what is written.

Genesis 6:5 - And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Deuteronomy 29:19 & 20 - And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:  The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

Deuteronomy 31:21 - And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.

Proverbs 6:18 - An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

Jeremiah 23:17 & 18 - They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.  For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

Lamentations 3:60-63 - Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.  Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.  Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.

Luke 1:51 - He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

Romans 1:21 - Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

2 Corinthians 10:5 - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

From Genesis to Revelation - The Cross

by David Wyper

When I read something in the Old Testament, I can be sure that it is confirmed under the finished work of Christ at the cross, in the New Testament. God is the same from Genesis to Revelation. His plan of victory for us, and over all evil, was established before the foundations of the earth were laid.

Take Job, for example, a man of righteousness who was shown wonderful things by God. Satan, we know, was allowed to attack this man unmercifully. Job, in fact, was hit with at least a dozen “thorns in the flesh”, but was still, by faith, able to proclaim, “I know that my Redeemer lives.” Job cried out countless times to God for mercy and grace and was finally delivered from all the attacks of the devil. All that Job lost was restored, and more.

Now Paul, also shown many wonderful and marvelous things by God, was also buffeted by Satan. God allowed this, too. The outcome would be the same. Paul, now having seen the manifestation of Christ’s finished work, would be set free, as well.

We, however, are taught to believe that Paul must live with his ‘thorn” for the rest of his life. That, under Satan’s threat, he better keep his mouth shut. God’s grace is sufficient, we solemnly repeat. Sometimes this becomes an excuse for things in our own lives that, without apparent victory, we can say, “This must be my thorn.”

Paul, unlike Job, cried out to God a specific three times (maybe for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) for victory over what was in his flesh. And Paul, like Job, was delivered and set free, receiving the perfected strength of Christ in place of his own weakness. That’s why Paul proclaimed confidently that he would much rather be in his weak, submitted state so that the perfected strength of Jesus Christ would be manifest against the devil’s work. Truly, this is the grace of God at work. Blessed is the one who is poor in spirit, mournful and meek, for he will gain Heaven, be comforted and inherit this very earth.

Like Job, Paul proclaimed his victory over Satan through the finished work of the cross. When he went back to Galatia, Paul said that the infirmity that was with him when he first preached the Gospel there, that “the temptation which was in my flesh”, was not held against him, and was gone.

If Paul was not fully and completely delivered from the his thorn, placed in his flesh by God’s enemy, I would then have to assume that the thorn was, specifically, amnesia. Paul would have to forget everything he was ever taught or would teach about the cross.

Listen to the song, No Thorns, on my “Peace in the Valley” album and you’ll know the rest of the story. No Thorns

YFC in Scotland - Soccer Ministry Needs Funds for Portable Pitch

by Linda Emmons for TCC

When Americans think of Scotland, a few things are likely to come to mind. For some, it will be their favorite literature. Certainly, if you took all the Scottish authors out of the library, there would be gaping holes in every section. A Scotsman, Alexander Graham Bell, invented the telephone, a little invention that changed our world. Scottish achievements and relationships have deeply impacted our present lives. Perhaps you think of a great-grandfather who emigrated from Scotland, or maybe you imagine Braveheart thundering through the hills, or handsome swordsmen flailing at each other as in the old Highlander movie/TV series.

Looking at all that, two Scottish traits become obvious – passion and a zest for physical competition. Imagine that Highlander character being acted out in the despair and boredom of a young teenage boy or girl, minus any moral compass.

Youth for Christ - UK

The Scottish government says that as a conservative figure, upwards of 40% of all youths in their tiny country are involved in crime and anti-social behavior. That means that of every five kids, two or more of them are committing crimes. The statistics point to increasingly violent crimes and increased knife attacks are the main concern on the street.

Expand your horizons a wee bit and meet Alan Gray, Sports Ministry Coordinator for Youth for Christ based in Glasgow, Scotland. Alan has a job so important, and well, impossible, that only God could have the audacity to assign such a task and expect to see it brought to fruition. Alan is reaching the youth of Scotland through the thing that arouses their passions in a way that may be impossible with our own jaded youth. What is the vehicle? Soccer, although along with most of the world, they call it football. The Scots know quite a bit about this and other sports near to our hearts, including basketball, cycling, rugby, hockey, and curling because Scots wrote the rules for these sports a few hundred years before the USA was born.

A life without hope, economic despair, and boredom—a life without Jesus—is all these kids have to look forward to, without present and consistent intervention by people like Alan.

Alan’s team knows Jesus, they know the problem, they know the solution, they have football skills to share, and they have God’s blessing on their project to take football to the streets where the kids are. Now they need your prayers and financial support.

Youth for Christ has a plan to raise around $200,000 US to buy a portable pitch. This is an enclosed field needed to play football, and they can put it up nearly anywhere. They put it up, the kids gather to play, and before they know it they are willing to talk to Christians about Christ. There is virtually no other way to get these kids’ attention. But they really don’t need another way, because other than Jesus appearing, there could be no bigger draw for Scottish youth.

Portable PitchPortable Pitch for Soccer Games in the Streets, Parking Lots, etc.

There are mega-ministries that suck up a lot of donations that back worthy causes, too — how many gold throne chairs, personal jets and Rolls-Royces do you want to provide the “stars” of those ministries? According to some of the financial accountability groups, some of the TV evangelists haven’t dispersed funds from previous fundraisers before they start on the next one. Those appeals for your money will always be there — this portable football field is a short-term goal, attainable, with eternal consequences.

Since there are a lot of people clamoring for your donations, why pick this one?

This is a ministry that will have far-reaching implications and get a lot of results from even a modest donation. Yes, we should still help starving children-but your donation will feed them for a month, a donation here will feed this Scottish lad or lass for a lifetime. Although funding sources are scarce, ministries are, unlike in the US, able to go into schools and work alongside there. Relationships earned on the streets can then be strengthened and expanded upon in the schools, too. In areas where the football team has managed this, a noticeable drop in crime resulted, as well as confessions of faith.

To send a donation of any size, send a cashiers check or money order to Youth for Christ and mail to Youth for Christ, 110 St James Road, Glasgow, G4 0PS, Scotland, United Kingdom. For wire transfers, please contact the ministry for their banking information. All monies will be used directly to pay for the pitch and expenses with transporting and utilizing it in the greater Scotland area.

This Revealed Mystery, The Cross

by David Wyper

“My eyes haven’t seen, nor have my ears heard, what my Father has in store.” Words from a song that I recorded years ago, “The Scars in the Hands of Jesus.” They proclaim the words from Isaiah and then repeated by Paul to the Corinthians.

When you hear these words what do you think the following message should be about? If you said Heaven, you’d be wrong. The song was ultimately about Heaven but the scriptures are not. “What! That’s been the message ever since I’ve been in church!” Yes it has, but these verses have nothing to do to with Heaven.

God speaks of Heaven in very specific ways in the Bible and does not leave it up to our imaginations. “In my Father’s house are many mansions”….” “There is a river that makes glad the city of God .” A place with no tears, no sorrow, no dying or loneliness, where God is the light…a city of jeweled walls and gates…

Isaiah says that God has a plan in place before the earth was formed. A plan where He and He alone will save us from our righteousness, filthy rags to Him, with His righteousness and man will not have a clue of what it is He will do for those who love and trust Him. Isaiah is prophesying Christ Jesus on the Cross.

Paul repeats the plan, in I Corinthians Chapter 2, in the context of, “I have come to you not knowing anything but Christ and Him crucified.” He doesn’t say he comes knowing only what God has in store for us in Heaven. Paul says it’s a mystery that man cannot understand except by the Holy Spirit. If the princes of the world had understood, they would, Paul says, not have crucified the Lord of glory. For it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Paul then goes on to proclaim that when this mystery is known and understood, those who are spiritual should judge all things according to this revealed mystery, the Cross.

So when you hear these words, remember the Cross, remember the Lord’s death until he comes. This is what God prepared for you. Man gave up the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden. God replanted it on the hill of Calvary, with the blood of Jesus, which now sustains us in all things to this day, the believer and unbeliever alike.

One thing that is very true about the song I recorded, is that God planned our redemption to be fulfilled by the nail prints in the hands of Jesus. It is finished!

Is Barack Obama a Christian?

Chicago Sun Times Cover with Obama by David Wyper

Barack Obama, in the Chicago Sun Times endorsement of his candidacy for president says this: “I am a Christian. I have a deep faith. I believe that there are many paths to the same place.”

A Christian would not believe this. A Christian will not believe this. A Christian cannot believe this.

In fact, the only thing that makes a man a Christian is this: A complete and total faith and trust in the completed, finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

I wonder, when Barack stands face to face with Jesus, if he will have the integrity and self-assurance to look Him in the eye and say, “Sir, you are a liar.”

Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, and no man comes to the Father but by me.”
